VERMICULITE LINING – WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT IT?
Lining the combustion chamber with vermiculite significantly increases the comfort and efficiency of the stove. Thanks to its excellent insulating properties, this material retains heat inside the combustion chamber, which translates into a higher combustion temperature, cleaner soot combustion, and longer-lasting glass transparency. Vermiculite is an insulator – it doesn’t heat up as much as, for example, TERMOTEC, making it an excellent thermal insulator. Furthermore, it’s safe in contact with fire – it doesn’t emit toxic gases and doesn’t burn. Thanks to these properties, the stove reaches optimal operating conditions faster. Additionally, its light, natural color highlights the aesthetics of a burning fire, creating an even more pleasant atmosphere in the home.
