Halcyon Fireplaces – Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and Halcyon Home Solutions Ltd, trading as Halcyon Fireplaces. By visiting or using our website, or by purchasing goods from us, you agree to be bound by them. Definitions: In this agreement: Goods – means any fireplaces, stoves, or related products offered for sale. Our Website – means www.halcyonfireplaces.co.uk, including all pages and content controlled by us. Carrier – any person or business contracted by us to deliver Goods to you.

Interpretation: References to “you” mean the customer or prospective customer. Headings do not affect interpretation. References to Acts, regulations, or laws include amendments and replacements. These terms override any terms you may propose. This agreement is in English; in case of conflict with translations, the English version prevails.

Our Contract With You: These terms form the entire agreement between you and us, superseding prior agreements. Using our website or ordering Goods constitutes an offer to buy. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order prior to dispatch without giving a reason.

Prices & Payment: Prices for Goods are displayed on our website and include UK VAT. Delivery charges are added at checkout. Payment is via secure third-party payment providers. Any under-priced Goods will be corrected prior to dispatch; we are not obliged to supply at the incorrect price. Refunds are credited to the original payment method and processed within 3–5 working days after approval.

Ordering & Acceptance: Your order is an offer to buy. We do not accept your order until dispatch. If Goods are unavailable, we may offer alternatives or cancel the order. Any agreements outside our website (phone or email) are still governed by these terms.

Delivery: All fireplaces are delivered on pallets, kerbside only. Drivers will not carry fireplaces into your property. Adequate manpower must be available to safely move fireplaces. Deliveries are pre-booked with the customer; you choose a suitable day within delivery hours (weekdays, 9:00am–5:00pm). Smaller items may be sent via Royal Mail or Parcelforce. You will be notified by email of dispatch and delivery updates. If delivery is attempted and no one is available, a re-delivery charge may apply. We are not liable for any damage to property if the delivery vehicle enters your property at your invitation. Fireplaces may arrive on a pallet with protective packaging. Disposal of pallets and packaging is the customer’s responsibility.

Returns & Refunds: Returns: Fireplaces cannot be returned if installed or used. All returns must be unused, clean, dry, undamaged, and in original packaging. Returns must be made within 30 days of delivery. A 20% restocking fee applies. We will arrange collection of returned fireplaces at a pre-agreed date. Refunds: Refunds are processed once the fireplace has been collected and inspected. Refunds are credited to the original payment card. Refunds typically take 3–5 working days, depending on your bank. Faulty Goods: Inspect Goods immediately on delivery. Report defects within 30 days. Faulty fireplaces will be repaired, replaced, or refunded, including the cost of collection. Customers must provide details of the fault to allow identification or reproduction.

Cancellation Rights: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days to cancel an order from the day the contract is made. Fireplaces cannot be cancelled once installed or used. To cancel, send a clear statement by email or post before the 14-day period expires.

Liability: We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, business, or goodwill. Our maximum liability is limited to the value of the Goods purchased in the preceding 12 months. Goods remain at your risk until signed for on delivery.

Intellectual Property: All content, logos, images, and website design are © Halcyon Home Solutions Ltd. You may use content for personal use only and must retain copyright notices. No part of the website or branding may be reproduced without written consent.

Customer Accounts & Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You accept responsibility for all activity under your account.

Dispute Resolution: If you have a complaint, email sales@halcyonfireplaces.co.uk. If unresolved, disputes should be attempted via mediation or arbitration before court action.

Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes must be litigated in England and Wales.
