Halcyon Fireplaces – Returns & Refund Policy

Returning a Fireplace

At Halcyon Fireplaces, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Due to the size, weight, and bespoke nature of our fireplaces, returns must follow these guidelines:

  • Fireplaces cannot be returned if they have been installed or used.

  • Items must be unused, clean, dry, undamaged, and in the original packaging, including pallets and protective materials.

  • Returns must be made within 30 days of delivery.

  • A 20% restocking fee applies to all fireplace returns to cover handling, pallet collection, and processing costs.

  • We will arrange collection of the fireplace from your property at a pre-agreed date and time. Please ensure someone is available to assist if needed.

Reporting Damage on Delivery

  • Customers must inspect their fireplace immediately upon delivery. Any damage or defect must be reported to Halcyon Fireplaces within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Claims for damage reported after this 24-hour period may not be accepted, as the fireplace could have been damaged after delivery by the customer or during handling on-site.

  • By accepting delivery, the customer acknowledges the fireplace was delivered in satisfactory condition unless reported within the required timeframe.

Getting a Refund

  • Refunds are only processed once the returned fireplace has been collected and inspected.

  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment card used for your order.

  • Refunds typically take 3–5 working days to process, though your bank may take longer to reflect the amount.

Important Notes

  • Fireplaces are heavy and delivered on pallets. Collection will be arranged by Halcyon Fireplaces to ensure safety and convenience.

  • The 20% restocking fee covers the costs of handling, transport, and processing the return.

  • Halcyon Fireplaces reserves the right to refuse liability for any damage claims reported after the 24-hour period following delivery.
